Why is it named "Clingman"

"Clingman" for the knife is inspired by Clingman's Dome, a notable Appalachian mountain peak, which is renowned for its stunning views and historical importance. Although the name reverted to its original Native American name after it was approved, Taylor decided to keep "Clingman" as the knife's name in honor of its inspiration.

Design Story

Inspired by the hardworking men from his family, young Taylor developed a passion for the gear industry. With the nostalgic memories of his grandpa and great-grandpa, he set out to create a modern traditional knife. The "Clingman", his first knife design, blends tradition and modern function, featuring a small, hidden front flipper and a flat 90-degree spine for a minimalist, traditional look.
