Introducing the BMC Naga Parang: Tradition Meets Modern Innovation
The BMC Naga Parang is an authentic, modern take on the venerable South East Asian Parang.
This blade enters the BMC lineup as a smaller, lighter blade. The blades fully sharpened cutting edge from tip to choil ensures it delivers exceptional versatility for it's size.
The Naga is designed to be a compact and extremely versatile blade.
It is light enough to be carried on the hip all day and be used for standard "small knife tasks" whilst offering enough length and power for hacking back branches, brambles and making camp.
Its edge geometry and 3.5mm thick spine offer a perfect balance of weight, strength and cutting performance.
It’s a classic up-swept Parang blade profile, with an extremely comfortable Micarta handle. The handle’s profile widens and curves downward like most classic Parangs, but the mid-grip is designed with a coke-bottle shape to fill the hand better and prevent twisting.
Ergonomics is always at the forefront of our design philosophy. The curvature, texture, bolt positioning, height and thickness of the handle have been tweaked to offer the most comfortable forward and back grips possible.
