The blade is made of CPM MagnaCut steel, widely regarded as one of the most balanced knife steels ever developed. SCORER is paired exclusively with the Smart Mag Sheath, Straight Line EDC's proprietary pocket carry system. Featuring a dual-magnet spine and a third magnet on the retention tab, the Smart Mag Sheath offers two distinct carry modes: deep carry, which keeps the knife fully concealed inside the pocket for a discreet profile, and standard carry, which allows part of the handle to remain exposed above the pocket for faster, easier access. Switching between modes requires only a single hand and a simple slide of the magnet tab — no need to remove the sheath from the pocket. It is the most intuitive and versatile pocket carry solution for a fixed blade knife available today.
